American Women Quarters Proof Sets and Silver Proof Sets
Every year from 2022 to 2025 the Mint sold two five-coin proof sets of American Women Quarters, struck at San Francisco: a clad proof set and a silver proof set in .999 fine silver. The scarcest is the 2025 Silver Proof Set, with 26,629 sold. The 2022 Silver Proof Set sold out on its first day. Sales below are as reported by CoinNews on 21 October 2026.
Proof coins are struck from specially polished dies on polished blanks, more than once, to give frosted designs on mirror fields. They were sold only to collectors, in sealed lenses with the Mint's packaging, and never released into circulation. Each American Women Quarters set holds the five designs of one year with the S mint mark.

Silver set sales fell every year, from 57,768 in 2022 to 26,629 in 2025, while the issue price rose from $73 to $95. The 2022 silver set was capped at 58,212, limited to one per household, and Coin World reported it sold out on the day it went on sale, 29 March 2022.

The silver weight is from CoinNews, because the Mint's silver set product pages were unavailable when this page was checked; the Mint's press releases confirm the 99.9 percent silver content and the San Francisco mint.
Which sets are worth looking for
The issue prices and sales above are facts; resale prices are not, and they move. If you are buying, the scarcer sets are the later silver ones: 2024 (35,010) and especially 2025 (26,629). If you are selling, compare completed sales of the same set in the original Mint packaging, not asking prices. A set that has been opened, or coins handled without gloves, sells for less. There is also no separate proof issue to look for beyond these sets: every clad and silver proof American Women Quarter carries the S mint mark, and the Mint has not published per-design S proof mintages, only set sales.
